Mango Chili Thai Restaurant – Giant Kinrara Puchong

Published on June 16, 2012 by in Featured, His Stomach

My wife wanted to have thai food yesterday night so we went to Mango Chili Restaurant which is the nearest thai eating place near our house. It is located at the 1st floor of Giant Kinrara, Puchong. This is the first time we come here to try even though we have been passing by it countless of times over the last 2 years ever since it is opened.

Mango Chili – Simply Thai. How did they come up with the name? Mango and chili represent authentic Thai food? Eh?

Fried Kai Lan – Rm6.90. Bland. But it was served with extra source of protein as we found some tiny insects in the dish. Yum….

Green Curry Chicken – Rm9.90. The curry taste is very good, best dish of the night.

Seafood Tom Yam – Rm9.90. Taste a lot more like sour tomato soup than tom yam. Chef is very liberal with tomatoes and vinegar.

Thai fish Cake – Rm6.90. Supposed to order it for my daugther but found out they put bird eye chilies in them. Very salty and melt in your mouth texture which is exactly the wrong texture if you are making fish cake?

Overall the food is below average and i am not sure if i will go back again.

Here is the map if you want to give it a try. Enjoy!
